Piano Teaching
My teaching practice works on two different levels:
Local young beginners, evolving young pianists, and retired.
Professional pianists or those pursuing further musical education at a music college or university.
– Local young beginners and evolving students
from age five (girls) six (boys) to 18.
Fees: 4 x lessons of at least 30mins, @ £25 each,
£100 to be paid in advance.
A month’s notice required.
As I do not teach at home, lessons should take place, in students’ homes, within a five mile radius of my home town, Margate, in Kent, where a responsible adult must be present, throughout.
Also, retired 50+ under the same arrangement,
-without of course a chaperone!
Rupert Jones

Sessions will cover technique, musical, stylistic, and postural issues, as required or requested.
Fees: £70/hour, where most sessions will certainly exceed the hour.
A free pre-session meeting to discuss background, requirements and vision,
– preferably via FaceTime or WhatsApp –
will initially be required.
